Kanye West is very popular today as a rapper. But only a few people are aware of the fact how he managed to enter the world of music. Before becoming a rapper, Kanye had a passion for producing songs. He has been producing singles since the days when he was busy in school. However, the first album, which he produced officially, is called 'Down to Earth', which was released in the year 1996. The album has eight tracks being produced by Kanye West. Unfortunately, the album did not enjoy praises. Well, that did not stop West from producing singles. He later started producing for some top artists like Goodie Mob, Foxy Brown, Jermaine Dupri and Harlem World.
Luckily, it was in the year 2000, West started getting some breaks, as he started producing the top artists with the company of Roc-a-Fella Records. His popularity as a producer reached a great height when he produced a single called 'This Can't Be Life', which was a part of an album by Jay-Z. Later, some other albums like 'Roc La Familia', 'The Dynasty' etc contributed to the growth of his popularity. The drum beat song called 'Xxplosive', which was from Dr.Dre and was produced by West, was also well praised worldwide.
After his success as a producer of Jay-Z, there were many of his sounds being featured in an album called 'The Blueprint', which was very well acclaimed critically. 'The Blueprint' was out in the month of September in 2001. One of the leading singles of all time called 'Izza' has also been featuring some of his works as well. In other words, it was 'The Blueprint', which turned his life as a professional producer with very good acclaim of critics. He continued his career in the field of music as a producer and he also started to sing some songs.
