I genuinely believe that 2018 is the best Kpop year in terms of song/album release.
Honestly, 2018 was an amazing year, I really really miss it :'( And of course, we are missing a lot of great songs that didn't reach #1 in this channel. Idk why 2019 was disappointing

I think we haven't had as consistent of a year as 2018 since then. 2018 had its faults, but in general the music was well recieved and stans and non-stans alike could appreciate the music much easier. Back then everyone was optimistic about most comebacks and thoroughly enjoyed them instead of excessively critical like Kpop seems to be met with nowadays, which is due to a lot of reasons but even so, I miss 2018 Kpop
