  1. Bird Box is basically an extremely bad spinoff of Lovecraftian ideology. The characters are unlikeable and bland. The premise of walking BLiND through the woods is ridiculous. Why are they running from the creature if it cannot harm them due to their blindfolds? They are taking unnecessary risks by trying to navigate somewhere they have never been.

  2. I hadn't heard about the white supremacy interpretation. I had heard it was more about an underlying story about social media and its effects on society (ie the isolation, paranoia, depression, irrational behaviors, lack of trust, and inability to connect). Fascinating. There may be a hundred different ways to interpret this movie possibly. Overall, though, I enjoyed it. Had my attention the whole time. Almost like a Walking Dead kinda movie minus the zombies, at least to me.

  3. That's why every man woman at the age 18 before the 25 should enlist in the army or the military so you don't have to do that you work as a unit you learn how to work together within the law oh Geneva convention Rules of Engagement our military has strict guidelines we don't go into villages or cities rape murder anybody like some of the places that weed have wars with people they would do anything like that gang in the Middle East they were storm a little town a bunch of them with swords and sticks sometimes a couple bow and arrow mostly swords they wood cut your head off kidnap the women and kill everybody they could I can't believe that this country will actually elect a foreigner I know that there's world this country is coming to an end we've been fighting with these people for a long time we had the hostage situation in 19 79 and Iiraan 19 83 the United States Marine headquarters Bass and we've been fighting with them since then Lebanon Beirut we did get Russia out of Afghanistan another part of the Middle East Afghanistan we were getting Russia out of there in 1989 they've been fighting for 10 years Russian and Afghanistan so people have knowledge of what these people are actually capable of doing I don't want them on my side I don't want them doing anything for me and if this country has it in their heart taking refugees what am I going to do they never listen to me but they made a bad decision to allow Foreigner and you are government where they made the law where they make law that protect the people of this country bad decisions whoever had a hand in that that's against the law that should be punished by jail time I sat back all these years I've done everything I could for this country and the people in it I don't want anything for it it's a little consideration for the Next Generation this generation and generation after that it's pathetic when I hear from character from Hollywood make a phone number making fun of a wounded man back veteran I have to cry brings tears in my eyes I remember back the sixties early seventies come back from Vietnam we had people waiting at the airport so they can spit on you Hollywood do-gooder liberals hippies dope addicts call you baby killer media I should have never let the media what the man goes to battle fatigue that's soldiers finished he's done there's no coming back from that I that's a dangerous motherfuker it happens the Vietnamese the Viet Cong they will use your children they would do nothing for you the get dollar usually Shine Your Shoes your boots they have you come over to the place where they shine your shoes you will sit down and they blow you up go in there and pick up some refugees kids who have hand grenade we're in the middle of the men throw it in the helicopter

  4. John malkovich is a pretty big actor.
Aside from that, I agree it’s a decent flick.
Not entirely fond of malkovich’s line:

    Spoiler

β€œMake the end of the world great again” said to groans of his fellow survivors.
Yea throw in some political jab. πŸ™„
Speaking of, we can easily make it out to be a political hit piece. Not β€œwhite supremacy” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
But rather, the entity that causes the suicides was created by all the hate spewed by the left and their cry baby antics. It’s only good ppl that kill them selves in the movie. The crazies don’t. Kinda like the dems who have no morals.

  5. I kinda just felt like this was the end product of some hack writer seeing "A Quiet Place" and saying "Let's make it so they can't see, rather than not make a sound." Also surprised you didn't mention the really crowbarred in "MAGA" comments by John Malkovitch.

  6. If they would have shown what the people were seeing…it would have been amazing!! They reeeeeeeally messed up on that. It kept me on the edge of my seat for the first 30 mins. Not from fear, but waiting and hoping it was going to get better by fiiiiinally seeing what each one of them saw! Urrrgggghhh Overall, I liked it, buuuuutt they messed up on the most important part for the full horror experience. It would have been awesome to see it from the perspective of those that became infected or overcome or whatever you want to call what they experienced. πŸ™‚ Thanks ABL!
