  1. Not the way Ilocano cook pinakbet. We boiled water first saka mo dudurugin ung bagoong na monamon s mainit na tubig hanggang tinik n lng matira(wag isama ang tinik)🤣 gulay: talong, ampalaya, kamatis, okra, buto ng patani, minsan my kamote, inihaw na isda or karne. Other gulay options cardis at bunga ng malunggay. Sa mga ilocano jan korek me kung my kulang pa po.

  2. Traditional Ilocano pinakbet consists mainly of eggplant, ampalaya, tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, bagnet, bagoong and either okra or lima beans. Anything beyond this destroy its suthenticity. Long beans is a league of its own or malunggay fruit as well. Thus we have malunngay (in Ilocano it's marunngay) pakbet or sitaw pakbet.
