I personally love the red brick against the green of the green house structure. I think red brick is a classic. But I'm sure if you do end up painting it, it will still look amazing, cos everything you do, does end up looking amazing..
When the beautiful dresses are in the back of the car – oh my goodness! I feel like some bridal dress bags need to be purchased – just purely for the length and to protect them.

Don’t paint the bricks. They look amazing that way. More natural and earthy. If you paint them it would look too much.

Oh Lydia you will love the third episode of the Gilded Age. We just saw the 4th episode and this Sunday will be the 5th one. We are looking forward to it. We are also watching Around the World in 80 Day and the second season of All Creatures Big and Small, we have enjoyed them both. So sorry the finale is this Sunday. I loved all your long dresses. But I do not have anywhere to wear them. In stogy old New England, if we aren't wearing boring black outfits we are slogging through the snow and ice all bundled up. Just loved the house you shot your photos in. Can't wait to see the garden in season. I love your Net-A-Porter blue skirt. But Lydia, you look good in everything. 😉 I agree with you, the linen trousers don't work. they are lovely, but they don't fit properly. But I love the olive print separates. They looked fabulous on you. I would keep the "greige" belted jacket, it is just so unique. Here is where I depart with you. The Brock skirt is just not practical. The hem dragging on the streets… I just couldn't cope with all the stuff the bottom of the skirt would collect. Although it is very nice. I love the olive pleated slacks. I would just take them to a tailor, they look great with the olive print blouse. OOOOh, thank you Lydia for introducing us to Bobby Brown's new line. Her products are one of my favorites. Can't wait to see them (and try them) when they come to the stores here in the US. I can't believe you have Snowdrops blooming. We just had a snow squall come through this afternoon. Agree never paint beautiful bricks for the sake of it … it’s forever maintenance not necessary … if you want contrast on the sills use window boxes in the green you love … just saying

Painting the greenhouse is such a permanent thing and once done it’s really difficult to reverse, have you thought about cladding the brick in wood? Which you could then paint? Loved the linen embroidered dress xx

If you choose to paint the brick I think I‘d go with a very dark green like Farrow&Ball Green Smoke or Studio Green. Although I also think, just like the majority of your community, to leave it like it is would be the best in terms of the stone as well as the looks.
My friend surprised me with a small Louis Vuitton bag cross body strap @ gurep.com and I realized it goes with any outfit and it just looks so elegant. I don’t use it often only when for special occasions. But it does feel nice knowing I have something special like this. Love it !
